When wiping the keys, do ensure that you are wiping it towards you because that’s the right way to go about it. Be careful not to allow the dust to fall into the gaps between the keys.

Step 2: Wipe the white keys using soapy water

After dusting or wiping the keys using a dry cloth, you’ll be wiping the white keys again, this time with a different cloth and soapy water. It’s recommended that you use one part ordinary dish soap and four parts water.

To do this, lightly dab the cloth into the soapy water and then use it to clean each key starting from the bottom and then work your way from left to right. After wiping the entire keys, use a separate cloth to clean the keys.

Step 3: Cleaning the key fronts 

Now you’ll carry out step 2 again but this time on the key fronts. Dab the cloth in the soapy water and use it to clean the key fronts. When you are done, wipe them using a dry cloth.

Step 4: Cleaning the black keys

For the black keys, you’ll carry out the same process you have done so far for the keys on the black keys.
