Normally Vipassana centers are established in quiet and rural areas, allowing the people to contemplate and reflect on their lives.

Yuval Noah Harari, a well-known historian and professor has been practicing Vipassana from nearly 20 years. “I don’t think I could have written any of my books without the help of Vipassana, the focus and the discipline that it endures and the clarity this kind of meditation gives,” he says.
